Pickerings Plant Hire head office is based in Derbyshire. Since formation in 1969, the company has grown into a leading, privately owned hire firm, specialising in the hire of site accommodation equipment.

Currently operating from eleven depots strategically located across England, Pickerings Plant, maintain a fleet of accommodation units manufactured by recognised brands.

All accommodation units are serviced and maintained by our in-house engineers who are kept trained to the highest standards and modern methods.

Site accommodation set-ups are designed and constructed to deliver maximum security, whilst providing comfortable surroundings for all staff workers.

The range of site accommodation is available to hire encompasses; secure stores, canteens, offices, welfare units, chemical and mains fed toilet systems, each delivered via own fleet of crane operated vehicles. All welfare units, both static and mobile, are HSE compliant and always kept up to date with evolving legislation.

Pickerings Plant has a wide and varied client base which includes; local building firms, house builders, civil engineering contractors, demolition specialists, railway workers and outside event organisations.

Pickerings Plant also supplies equipment and accommodation to individual markets, such as Local Authorities, the Environment Agency, and a variety of utility contractors.
