Cabin Person - Tiverton

A vacancy has arisen for a Cabin Person to join our Tiverton Depot.

To clean, repair and prepare site accommodation ready for hire, while maintaining the yard to company standards as per the quality standards manual and in accordance with the current Risk Assessment Method Statements (R.A.M.S )

Reporting to:  Foreman.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

  • Ensuring you comply with and adhere to all R.A.M.S and Health & safety policies including the correct use and wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ensuring you comply with the 4 C’s policy

OPERATIONS

  • Preparing site accommodation and equipment to a high standard ready for hire in accordance with the quality standards manual and P.D.I.
  • Carrying out repairs and refurbishments on site accommodation.
  • Complete PAT Testing and Level 1 & Level 2 electrical work as and when required and implement in day to day work if fully trained and qualified.
  • Competently use the forklift truck to move units around the yard, if fully trained.
  • Spray paint the units to Pickering’s standard and the customer’s specification if fully trained.
  • When dealing with customers always present yourself in a professional manner.
  • Keeping the yard clean and tidy, maintaining company standards at all times.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions that may be necessary in the performance of your duties.
  • Complying with and upholding company policies and procedures.
  • Undertaking any additional tasks as may reasonably be required from time to time.

Administration Assistant: Aylesbury

We have an opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join the team in our Aylesbury depot.

The candidate will be responsible for providing general administration support, such as updating and maintaining customer & supplier records, dealing with telephone enquiries, general correspondence, filing and photocopying. They will also be required to assist the hire controller by taking and processing customer orders.

They should be computer literate, enthusiastic, flexible, polite and must be able to work under their own initiative.

Previous experience in the hire industry preferred but not essential.

Depot Manager: Southampton

We have an opportunity for a Depot Manager for our Southampton depot.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient day to day running of depot pushing depot growth and implementing effective and efficient ways of working within the depot. 

Duties will incluide: Making day to day depot decisions, delegating to and managing staff as appropriate.  Liaising with customers and suppliers over the phone and on site as and when required. Managing Health & Safety relating to customers, staff and sub-contractors at all times in the depot and on site.Managing the recruitment, training and development all staff.

HGV Class 1 Driver & HIAB Operator: Southampton

We have an opportunity for a Class 1 HGV Driver and HIAB Operator to join the team at our Southampton depot.

The HGV Driver will be required to provide a professional and efficient delivery and collection service of company plant machinery and portable site accommodation to customers in and around the Hampshire area.

Regional Account Manager (North)

A vacancy has arisen for a Regional Account Manager (North).

The Regional Account Manager will be expected to increase our direct market share within the

Northern Region and develop the future growth of the Containex Flexi Eco Range. This will be through increased hire revenues with new and existing customers and developing long-term relationships.

Duties will include:

  •  Identifying and growing opportunities within the Northern Region and collaborating with the Regional Manager, sales office and depots to ensure continued growth.
  •  Carrying out controlled sales calling to targeted customers as identified by the Northern Regional Manager. These will be predominantly within the Northern Region, with a potential spend of 250k per annum.
  •  Developing sales strategies by targeting multi user sites, with a view to increasing larger site setups with our Flexi Eco Range.
  •  An agreed target base of 80 customers who have the potential for hiring multiple site set ups to also include our 32’ units.
  •  Increasing customer base following up ABI leads generated by the sales office and identifying potential new business whilst on the patch.
  •  Utilising previous industry knowledge and contacts to provide competitive advantage especially to promote the Flexi Eco Range.
  •  Take responsibility for the entire sales, design and planning process for the life cycle of each enquiry and order placed.
  •  Forecasting and tracking key accounts and reporting as necessary to the Regional Managers on a weekly basis.
  •  Understand cost bases in relation to quoting and achieving the required margins.? Agreeing customer specific Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) with the Regional Manager and Managing Director.
  •  Building and maintaining strong, long lasting customer relationships.
  •  Forward planning, weekly visits to your customer base. Prioritising and maximising their potential.
  •  Attending meetings that may be necessary in the performance of your duties.
  •  Good communication with Regional Manager, Depot Manager and Sales office
  •  Complying with and upholding company policies and procedures.
